Travel and Transport
University of Delhi (North campus) is well connected from the Airport Terminals and Railway stations. We earnestly request you to make your own arrangement to reach to the University, unless we have informed you otherwise. We shall inform separately to those who are being received at the airport terminal 3.
By Air
All international flights arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport Terminal 3 (T3). The domestic flights however arrive at both terminals (T3 and terminal 1D). Please take a prepaid taxi to your place of stay, or to University of Delhi (north campus) where both University Guest Houses are located at a distance of 200 m from each other on the University Road. You can also take Airport Metro for New Delhi directly from T3 (you have to follows signs after final exit), but from T1D you will have to take a shuttle uptoAerocity Metro Station from where you catch the Airport Metro. The airport metro terminates at New Delhi Railway Station, where you need to buy a fresh ticket and take Yellow line metro going towards Jahangir Puri/ SamaypurBadli for Viswavidyalaya metro station, which is the sixth station. Both guest houses are located within about 500 m of the Viswavidyalaya metro.
The symposium venue, the Conference Center, is located opposite the Department of Botany, for which the entry point is University gate no. 4 (opposite Arts faculty)
By Train
There are four main railway stations in Delhi located in different directions: Delhi, New Delhi, HazratNizamuddin and AnandVihar. New Delhi and Delhi railway stations are well connected by yellow line of Metro train. One can reach University of Delhi North Campus from either by metro train or bya pre-paid taxi.
